Setting Up 404 Error Page in Plesk Panel
You can easily create your very own 404 error page yourself by following these steps below :
Step 1 : You will need to create the 404 error page and this file can be in either .htm or .html extension.
Please use a text editor such as NotePad / NotePad++ / Dreamweaver / Kompozer et cetera to create a new .htm (or .html) file.
The contents of the file can be as below :

Step 2 : Once you are happy with the contents of the file, save the file name as eg. : 404errorpage.htm
Step 3 : Try to upload the file 404errorpage.htm into your site using FTP (you can use an FTP Client like FileZilla or SmartFTP) and put the file into wwwroot folder.
Step 4 : Login to your Plesk Panel and go to Websites & Domains.
Step 5 : Choose the domain that you would like to work on and click on Hosting Settings.
Step 6 : On the Hosting Settings page, scroll down and ensure that the "Custom Error Documents" is selected and then, click OK.
Step 7 : Click on Virtual Directories.
Step 8 : Click on the Error Documents tab.
Step 9 : Click on page 2 and then, find 404 and click it.
Step 10 : In the Location field, enter the file name of the 404 page (example : 404errorpage.htm) and then, click OK.
Note : Always ensure that the error documents must be web-visible ; i.e., the file should be placed in your httpdocs directory or hosted elsewhere.
